The purpose of this little book is to confirm that Saturday (and its equivalent in other languages) is the seventh-day Sabbath of the fourth commandment world-wide. We aim to present truthful and practical information that should reunite Seventh-day Adventists in the Pacific region back to keeping Saturday, as the Church does in the rest of the world.
We have been in wonderment since December 2011 as to why Seventh-day Adventists are participating in Sunday observance. The Seventh–day Adventist Sunday-keeping issue came to our attention via the news item on the front page of the New Zealand Herald (30 Dec 2011) that outlined how the shift of the IDL, moving to the west of Samoa, had divided Seventh-day Adventist brethren as to which day was the seventh-day Sabbath.
After much questioning, reading and letter writing, we believe it is time to ask the General Conference in session to clarify for the world Church our fundamental belief on the Sabbath.
